Metal - Metal braces are the most common type.  They are made of high-grade stainless steel.  Today's metal braces are smaller, more comfortable and more attractive.

Clear - Clear braces feature a comfortable design with a translucent appearance.  They are made from a hard ceramic material.  These braces won't stain or discolor.  With the same performance as metal braces, many patients are now choosing the clear option.

Self-Ligating - These braces have doors to connect the wire to them and provide light, continuous forces.  They do not require the need for elastic ties, and thus can help with maintaining good oral hygiene.  They can be more comfortable and decrease patient discomfort because the forces are lighter allowing the wire to slide along the brackets.

Invisalign - Clear, removable aligners can straighten the teeth for both adults and teens.  They look great and can sometimes shorten treatment time!
